Hawthorn Vintage - Supporting Charity

Hawthorn Vintage is a charity fundraising group established in 2010. We are made up of over 20 members and volunteers from Portglenone and the surrounding area. Our members range from age 18 to 98 years old and come from various backgrounds, all sharing a common passion for Vintage Machinery.

In the last 12 months the members have all contributed skills, expertise and valuable time to raise over £6500 for Marie Curie Cancer Care - our nominated charity.

In February 2011 we held our first Hawthorn Vintage Gathering. This event showcased vintage and classic tractors and cars and engines from the local area. Such was it’s success, we now plan to make this an annual event. Other Hawthorn Vintage fundraising activities include:

• Publishing and sale of Hawthorn Vintage Calendar
• Auctions of vintage vehicles parts and memorabilia
• Fireside quizzes, raffles and street collections
